Capital is not static?

I heard that capital isn't like this big tree full of money that is always just there for you to redistribute! Turns out it'll dry up and die if you don't encourage it's growth! Then you starve! WOW!!

Just ask the mayor of Seattle. She's learning this the hard way.

As long as you know. So remove as much tax as possible. Eliminate every program you can. No free needles no welfare you work. No money spent on anything that's not crucial.
@Munumbis only getting paid for labor? Sounds fair. Let's abolish the stock market where people multiply their money without contributing to production. No more lifetime pensions for politicians after serving one term. No more huge bonuses for CEOs just for arranging enough government subsidies for their company not to go bankrupt. You may be onto something there.

Capital chases growth, which equals profit. What was a great investment a decade ago, may not be now..😷
When you have more than anyone can possibly spend in 10 lifetimes, maybe continued growth isn't necessary and 10% of it drying up isn't the end of the world.
@Munumbis no, I wouldn't, because that would indeed remove the incentive to create jobs.

@Barrington why would I ever want to propose something that brings the whole world to a halt? You two have a strange view of what I want.
