The thing about anarchists, revolutionaries and other political gobshites, is they have no answers.

When the struggle is won and there’s no more governments, banks and so on, they have no idea how a hospital would stay open.

Or how people too old to work would subsist.

Or how to motivate people to do awful/dangerous work that people rely on.

Or how to provide a life time of care and treatment for people born with disabilities.

Or how to respond when another country invades you because you look like a group of defenceless hippies living in your own shit and dying of preventable diseases in your early 40s.

Exactly. They’re all about a romanticised struggle but they haven’t thought of the suffering such a change would cause everyday folk.

@blokeinpub except we did, therefore this statement is inaccurate.

Indeed. They have no idea how to help or sustain a cohesive society of any kind, that benefits all (especially the most feeble or weak) not just on some selfish level. Are they going to maintain and build roads, or supply the grocery stores, or a million other things.

It's easier to be a fanatical preacher on-line with no effort made to improve or do anything about it.

@WintaTheAngle TY. Maybe. I think some are stuck in their own cognitive biases cage and can't see past that.

Please tell me how capitalism and the hierarchical state protects the poor, weak and vulnerable.

@thrash Anarchism isn't at all about not participating in society. In fact it calls for much more and active participation in society.

False.

See Catalonia, Rojava and Zapatistas.

@basilfawlty89 So how would a hospital function without manufactured drugs and equipment, payed staff and a steady supply of electricity, water, ambulances and the required fuel, it systems, communications in a world that has no money to build, pay for and maintain it?

@basilfawlty89 word. The thing some don't seem to grasp to is there's a lot of BS many consider as only existing for the sole purpose of consumption inorder to propel capitalism and therefore uneccesary to really have any solution or means for.
