He proposed anarchist communism, correct?

Interesting books - what would you say are the highlights or a principle that resonated with you?

And why, after so long, does capitalism continue to flourish anyway, broken as it is? What were the better systems he proposed and are the workable today?

(Sorry to ask for a book report; I'm genuinely interested in alternative points of view)

@Graylight yes he does. The idea of anarcho communism was unfamiliar to me prior to hearing about him. It's interesting as he showcases viable alternatives to capitalism which we as workers are merely servants and are exploited for the surplus value of the wealthy. Peter Kropotkin talks about mutual aid being a part of nature since the days of the animal kingdom whilst acknowledging that we are also driven by self interest but without mutual aid humanity would have collapsed long ago

@Guitarman123 @Guitarman123 Interesting. I seem to know the theory of mutual aid under a more psychological terminology but on its face, completely agree with the hypothesis. I'll look into this material; thank you for the info and insights.

@Graylight my pleasure. He advocated for workers owning the means of production in a Co operative society
