Hello, Americans.

Hello, i recently joined this website in hopes of finding like-minded people. America has been flawed for years, babies starve and politicians grow fat. Every penny that the poor man makes is halved and put in the rich man’s pocket. “Work harder” they all say. The more we work in this fucked up system, the more we suffer, the more the rich benefit. We have all tolerated this for too long. Do you agree?

Americans live incredibly well. What we call a poverty level is actually a middle class income in most of the world. Jealousy of those who have wealth is common everywhere but nowhere do you have a better opportunity to acquire your own wealth than here.

@xp47rb Even if we have it better than others, that does not mean that we cannot improve. Do you think that working 12 hours a day just to afford food should be something that thousands have to do?

@EatTheRichUSA that wasn't uncommon years ago in the USA and still happens in much of the world. My grandparents were subsistence farmers

@xp47rb Yes, "poverty" in America probably means you still have a cell phone, a roof over your head, a car and plenty of food.

@EatTheRichUSA Do you think someone who studies for years and works hard to become a surgeon should have no more money than somebody who just flips burgers for a living? In America, there are tremendous opportunities for self improvement. America: #1 destination of immigrants worldwide. Millions of people of color are trying to get in here, despite endless fake news about America being an unjust racist hellhole.

@graphite I don’t want to hear this. College is for those who can afford it. I got amazing grades all throughout my school years, and a full scholarship at a nearby college. I couldn’t go because i didn’t have the money to pay for food while attending. Opportunities? Don’t make me laugh. They are for the privileged only. When EVERYONE has the opportunity to be a surgeon, they can be paid more.

@EatTheRichUSA plenty of people work part time to pay expenses in such situations. Some go to work for companies that pay tuition or join the military. Some go to night school while working full time like I did

@xp47rb Same here. Went to school all day, worked all evening, home at midnight. It can be done.
