@thoughtcriminal: I read 10 different news sources about people being bussed to the Trump event. Some were critical some not but none implied they were required or coerced to go. The local politicians who support what Trump was pitching simply brought those who agreed with them to the rally. I found no mention of force.

@SW-User Just about every media source mentioned that the crowds were bused in. It's ridiculous fir anyone to claim that they cannot find any references to it.

This, however, does not mean that the crowds were coerced. Pew Research says that 73% of Poles have a favorable view of the US, so when then ruling party demands that each party operative come up with 50 people to bus to the speech, using the same techniques employed during the communist era, then "agreeable" people will go for an official day off.

As an aside, and according to Pew, only 23% of Poles have confidence in Trump, as opposed to 58% who had confidence in Obama.

@Northwest I was speaking to the recent flip in governmental style in Poland...

Regular Poles , yes like the US...
They would also take the opportunity to speak out against the crack down there...

@SW-User the new Polish President and ours find validation in each other's position, and Trump was not going to miss the opportunity to address a friendly crowd.

This was orchestrated by Trump's handlers with the Polish ruling party. It serves both parties well, and provides Trump with an ego booster, ahedac of the negative crowds that were correctly forecast for Hamburg

@SW-User as an aside, there really is no point in arguing with hippyjoe. His Canadian residence has nothing to do with it. This is SW, an international forum and people are free to express their opinions, it's just that he does not understand what arguing the facts means, and he's a racist, mysogonist xenophobic.
