Can Nancy Pelosi get any more dramatic over the Senate healthcare bill?

Democrats, the party of fear.

I can't stand her... they aren't taking away anything... she's an alarmist. If crooked H proposed the same, exact thing, she'd be singing it's praises.

@MsMontgomery: Aren't taking anything away? Are you serious with that? I'm at an absolute loss when I see comments like yours. I don't get it. I truly don't get it.

@Ynotisay: it says they aren't cutting Medicaid.... & the Planned Parenthood group's claims of women's health being cut is bogus bc those 'women's health issues' they claim to be worried about are covered in yearly wellness visits.
... MY insurance premiums have TRIPLED since Obamacare & my coverage has decreased... it's sad that just bc republicans propose something, there's weeping & gnashing of teeth.
Let's see what happens. I am positive it can't be worse than the garbage we got from Obamacare.

I have to read it myself to believe it. NBC has become non-credible.
... there have been reports of Medicaid being cut-off & all sorts of fabrications to alarm people.
I want everyone to have Healthcare. What we have now is not that.

@MsMontgomery: So you know, insurance premiums have been raised at a rate LOWER than they were prior to the ACA. They are anticipated to go up 20% next year under this plan though. Your beef today is with the insurance companies. Not the ACA. Big difference. Your beef next year is with the GOP is this garbage gets passed.

And if you're paying out of pocket at a premium rate that was jacked that much I'm going to assume that (clearly) your employer doesn't provide insurance, you live in a Red State and what you did have prior was junk insurance and you weren't grandfathered in.

I saw something earlier with Kelly Ann Conway saying that Medicaid wouldn't be cut. I won't waste my time with the specifics suffice to say that MILLIONS will not have access to Medicaid under the GOP bill. It phases out Medicaid expansion. And that doesn't even included the types of coverage they'll be able to access. You too. According to the CBO, higher out of pocket costs and the policies will cover less. Planned Parenthood. That's an independent entity that will be defunded. Why? They provide abortions which makes up a minuscule part of what they do. So women who relied on it for a HOST of reasons will, I don't know, do without.

You've been sold a bill of goods that's going to hurt you. It's your right to fight against what's in your best interest. I just don't know why you'd want to. ESPECIALLY because this is all about moving money to the very top on the backs of "regular" Americans. Sorry. I just don't get that.

The insurance premiums, through my employer, have tripled over the last 4 years. My husband has had a heart attack & takes a lot of meds. Believe me, I've researched it & Obamacare is to blame.
.... we can argue about this for years & I'm sure we will both keep our same beliefs.
...& I will still be cheering when Obamacare is gone.

@MsMontgomery: So how much exactly do you pay for your employer provided coverage? And why would you support a party that supports Pharmaceutical companies? I don't get it.
I'm not sure you've thought this one all the way through. Whatever. Your life.

@Ynotisay: over $3,000 a month. So, basically I'm just working to have insurance. Oh! AND there's a yearly deductible & then insurance only pays 80%.... ok, enough said for me on this topic... #pointless.
Ynotisay · M
@MsMontgomery: The average contribution of an employer for an employee's insurance is about 80%. Average family of four is about 1,500 a month. So if you're not making serious money, like high six figures, I'm not sure what to say. Other than you should have gone through the ACA and picked up your insurance there on your own. You'd be paying way less.
As long as you know you're going to pay more and get less, per the CBO (headed by a guy who tried to destroy Obamacare) that's the only point I can make. Good luck.
