When you call someone a racist, you're directly interfering with their freedom of speech.

We need to pass a law against calling people racist. It's the only way to protect the First Amendment.

When you call someone a racist it may be because they actually did or said something racist. Or perhaps what you're really saying is that racism doesn't exist at all.
