When you call someone a racist, you're directly interfering with their freedom of speech.

We need to pass a law against calling people racist. It's the only way to protect the First Amendment.

Any law passed to prevent someone from using the term "racist" would be struck down in the courts as violating the First Amendment.

Not if it was a Constitutional hearing in a Constitutional court.

@USAalltheway: What are you talking about? A Federal Court? Freedom of speech protects that right except in very unusual circumstances, like yelling "fire" in a crowded theater. An uncomfortable description of someone clearly isn't prevented by the First Amendment.

But ordinary Americans can't exercise our freedom of speech when liberals keep calling us racist every time we make a realistic observation like the fact that people who are different colors should be kept separate.

@USAalltheway: Calling you a racist for being a racist doesn't prevent you from stating your opinion on separation of people of different colors. Both sets of speech are protected by the First Amendment, no matter how abhorrent your views are.

Yes it does.

@USAalltheway: The First Amendment gives you the right to be a troll or to spout any bullshit you want to, unless there is clear damage to the other party, as I pointed out earlier. Go for it.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
Yeah, and I can't say whatever I want if liberals call me racist.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@USAalltheway: Sure you can. You have been in this thread.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
Because I can delete liberals' comments and block them. We need a way to delete liberals' comments in the real world.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@USAalltheway: Delete away if you wish. But comments from people who care about others will never stop commenting, ever, in the real world. It is important to bear witness to evil and to speak truth to power. Get used to it--you have a long life ahead.
