When Trump gets impeached do you think we'll be better off with Mike Pence? Why, or why not?

SW-User
If he actually does get impeached he'll be pardoned while all the other americans are thrown in jail for things like half a gram of weed or some bullshit like that.

The current VP would be just as bad if not worse with the only difference being that he has experience in politics. It wouldn't be any better of course since he would just do the same as the previous one did with some variations though (to put on a facade of "better than").

Pence could be even worse. If Trumpski is still around in 2018, and I doubt he will be, the Dems will take over Congress and hopefully undo Trump's damage. If Pence is in the White House the Reps might not lose control.

I am not sure. But Pence has at least more self-discipline than Trump. Although nevertheless I don't trust him neither...

If Mike Pence gets to take over I think that unites the republicans much more than the current state and it would squelsh the liberal outcry. That would put the republicans in better position to keep control of the house and sentate and win reelection. So in a way mike pence taking over could be really bad agenda wise for the liberals. But I think he would bring more peace of mind to everyone worried about world war 3.

No, there is no good situation here and he won't get impeached without a massive publicity outcry.
JThomp035 · 41-45, M
@Halcyon: there will be a massive outcry either way right? He's a very polarizing figure.

doesn't matter.. he's already making the decisions.

just like cheney did with bush jr.

The question is, when Trump doesn't get impeached will the unhinged left go completely over the edge?
katielass · F
@JThomp035: We have no evidence that he did and in this country we don't judge people guilty until we have evidence. You seem to have fallen prey to someone playing mind games with you.
JThomp035 · 41-45, M
You are right in the sense there must be an investigation to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt as far as the impeachment process will go but the facts are already out there. It s sort of like the bill Cosby case...Does anyone really think Bill Cosby is innocent just because he hasn't gone to trial yet? I think we know he's guilty so now we are just awaiting due process... It seems like you are suspending disbelief to continue supporting the man. I understand these things take time...

@JThomp035: The standard is beyond a reasonable doubt. And the only "facts out there" are that there is no evidence of anything. I have no idea whether Bill Cosby is guilty or innocent. And you don't either. You're mistaken, I don't support trump. I voted for him but only to vote against her. I'm not alone in that. But I will defend him when he's being unfairly persecuted because I'm a fair person. It says a lot about you that you are sure Cosby is guilty without knowing any of the facts. And you seem to be equally sure of trump's guilt without any evidence of his guilt. Yep, says a lot about you, not them. I hope you are never wrongly accused.

Lmfao are you kidding. Do you really believe he will be impeached? Comon man. If bush,jr. And barack didn't what seriously makes you think that will happen?
JThomp035 · 41-45, M
@Recluse: I think it's possible. He is very reckless. And the republicans would love to have mike pence. If given the chance the republicans would throw him away like a soiled pair of underwear.
ExploreroftheUnknown · 26-30, M
I honestly just don't even know anymore

😈There is NO ONE!
Not really. It's a choice between total chaos and a "fundie" Christian theocracy, with the equivalent of Sharia law for women and the LGBTQ community. If people think Trump and Clinton was a case of "two evils", they ain't seen nothing yet.
