Socialism is terrible for society. Why do you think the quality of life in Western Europe has been far better than that of Eastern Europe?

@Invisible: Uhm, most West European countries are socialistic as well, just an other kind f socialism 😂

@kingkyrie: Social democracy is far from socialism, although still very problematic, and it's not like they were always that way. In the past, they were much more capitalist. Look at post-WW2 West Germany vs East Germany.

@Invisible: Seen the results of it, it's certainly not that problematic, but an ideal system still doesn't exist, indeed.

@kingkyrie: An ideal system can only exist with an ideal populace. I believe that the best system is one that lets people prosper without being dragged down by their contemporaries, i.e. one that leans very much towards capitalism or at the very least holds the principle of private property to the highest esteem. This is what liberty means to me.

@Invisible: well I want president to be atheist one day. A president should not always be religious. I can tell trump is not very religious at all. One day a president should say they are proud to be a atheist
