What upsets you the most about liberals?

I think for me it's how easily they get triggered.
That they were allowed to infiltrate and infest most government and education institutions over the last 30 years unchecked..

Luckily.. The silent majority are waking up to it..

@theoneyouwerewarnedabout: I coulda told them but they wouldn't have listened. Just like they aren't really listening now to the zombies that the left has created from the tender age of 6. The ones using violence to shut people up. That's probably more dangerous to us than the terrorists. But no one wants to see it.

Well fortunately my parents homeschooled me so I learned common sense. And I see it in the way I understand the real world better than people my age who went to public schools. They don't even understand the simplest things, like how people who are different colors ought to be kept separate, or how the world was made by God 6000 years ago. People always turn out much better when their parents have total control over what they're taught growing up.

Liberals are just like people of every other ideology: self-righteous, parochial, and full of animosity towards those of opposing views. To varying degrees, of course. Not everyone's a radical.

The thing that separates liberals from conservatives is that liberals try to speak on behalf of entire demographics that they don't belong to, often without knowing anything about what they actually deal with. Conservatives at least don't give a shit about anyone but themselves

Their insistence that you can't own guns and be peaceful at the same time.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Kindheartedguy: While this might be true for the extreme left...(never ctually have seen anyone say that) It is NOT at all what "liberals" think.

It is the extreme right that claims this about liberals.

The fact is that the right claims guns are needed for protection..but want AR15's instead of handguns.

The fact is that no matter how peaceful you are...at any moment you can snap.

Quite a few gun deaths this year caused by "peaceful" "law abiding" gun owners.
Pfuzylogic · M
@JaggedLittlePill: I very much agree that the right distorts badly the position of their opposition with gun control.

I see the point of self protection.
I don't like the idea of everyone armed up for the next Armageddon though.

I will not disagree with you, jagged. As you know... I came from a good hunting state and many of your neighbors came up to hunt.

Nobody in the group of guys I went with ever used an "AR" style rifle.

BTW... even though I own handguns... I don't think they are the best for protection. My friend's dad always sold us on the concept of a shotgun. Made perfect sense to me.

*************

My state was considering opening up the concealed carry law at the same time I was taking hunter's safety (I took it in my late 20's). Near the end of the course they had a speaker come in to talk briefly about CCL.

When it came time for questions, I raised my hand and said: You have spent the past two months teaching us about firearm saftey and how we should not even cross a fence while our gun was loaded... yet you are telling us it's ok for individuals to carry a loaded pistol everywhere. Doesn't that seem contradictory?

The hunter's safety instructor smiled and speaker did not even respond. When the class was over, the instructor came to me and said he would never carry for that reason but he didn't feel like he should prevent others from carrying.

A lot of them are so intent on not insulting or pissing off anyone that they end up insulting and pissing off everyone.
I love liberals, but the the thing I hate about the pseudo liberals that have almost completely replaced real liberals is their hypocrisy and double standard. They are becoming exactly what they claim to be against. They are intolerant fascist liars and enemies of free speech and freedom in general.
@puck61: I've always been very curious about what pre-1960s liberalism was, but I haven't a clue
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP: Well, we all owe a debt of gratitude to the old school liberals. There are about 50 things that they've had a major part in accomplishing that improves the quality of life for everyone. These people who are calling themselves "liberals" these days are spoiled children and sold out hippies who lost their way, and friggin bureaucrats who are moving at light speed towards totalitarianism.
Neiromatheous · 31-35, M
Nothing really upsets me about them, I just don't like the hypocrisy they show.
Jake966 · 56-60, M
That is true and how worked up they get when they don't get their pun way
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
...I seem to recall people calling the FCC and whining about a joke a lat night host made about #45...that was the conservatives though...with their hurt feelings.....damn. Guess that did not fit the rhetoric you were spewing.... 🤔
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@JaggedLittlePill: never heard that one
Karlbodge · 22-25, M
They automatically agree with their own side, have no self-awareness and no clue about irony.
katielass · F
I see real danger in the youth who think it's ok to use violence to shut up speech they don't like or agree with. We know they have been brainwashed and what's worse is that there are adults who know better who are egging them on.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
That's so true. Liberals are the only people who ever respond to speech with violence.
Ramon67 · 61-69, M
The way they twist things around to make themselves look good .
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Nomar67: oh...is this a problem soley of the "liberals" ?
Ramon67 · 61-69, M
@JaggedLittlePill: it applies to both sides
katielass · F
@Nomar67: ?????? They do twist things but they never look good unless they go unchallenged.

Their double standards
SW-User
@Cierzo: I think that is an inherently human trait.
Cierzo · M
@Kindheartedguy: Liberals are more human then

The 'races do not exist but whites are oppressors" and 'nurture not nature matters, but homosexuality is innate' statements cannot be beaten.

Singing styles that mimic that of star Mariah Carey - i don't know of the technical term for it besides decribing it like that, ... the talent show - The Voice showcases these singing styles most often.

Eh, I kinda am one in many ways but the thing that annoys me about a lot of people who identify as it is the amount of hypocrisy and illiberal ideas so many hold these days. So many deny traditional liberalism these days in favor of their own brand of authoritarianism.

Pretty much annoyed by the same things a lot of cons do that pisses me off. I find neoliberalism and neoconservatism equally offensive. Both sides are wrapped up in identity issues instead of liberty.

@CopperCicada: I don't think either side really leans left or right of center. I find them to be far left and far right on the side of authoritarianism.

@CopperCicada: I agree with this completely. It's a blizzard out there.
