The UK government are having talks with all the ISPs and phone companies to force unfiltered access to everyone's data.

They want back doors in all OS.

Stuff like this worries me.
Bad enough that Google; Amazon; Facebook and others, accumulate endless keystroke data on you. Enabling them to throw certain sales folk your way !
But if governments are asking THEM to do certain things.
Then......who's running security in our country ?
Why is it they can't do what they're asking Yahoo; twitter et al to do ?
Is terrorism seriously happening on such an industrial scale ?
Or is this about right wing extremism in the form of our OWN governments ?

@Picklebobble2: definitely food for thought

@Picklebobble2: Yeah, it's utterly terrifying.

@Picklebobble2: Is there any terrorism at all? Maybe it's all staged by the government to scare us into accepting big brother style surveilance "for our protection".

@Gangstress: Cracking down on dissenters ?
Isn't this partly how we lost the experience project ?
It'll be interesting to see if there are more notifications from moderators coming up !!

@suzie1960: They consider a guy driving badly an act or terrorism these days. Any death is sad but, come on, it's not exactly an attack.
