The UK government are having talks with all the ISPs and phone companies to force unfiltered access to everyone's data.

@Gangstress: No, not on this scale. They can ask permission from google to get access to the phone if a threat is suspected, for example, but this gives them complete access to everyone all the time.

Mass public surveillance. Back doors in all your devices so they can rummage about, leaving it vulnerable to hackers.
