Actually we are not socialist countries even though you are so missled! 😀 There is a certain oginality in such a perception and actually faultiness in an understanding of the whole concept.

@MipetKari: if I have kids born at Finland can I get citizenship at Finland. Some countries make it easy to get citizenship.

@Mariocrespo8546: Not quite that easy! 😊

The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of someone else's money.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow: When you own a business and provide a product or a service that people are willing to pay for, that is not forced redistribution by the government. That is voluntary. You don't need to buy things from companies you don't like and you don't need to buy products you don't like.

When the government taxes people, that is involuntary redistribution. To be clear, I pay my taxes and I'm alright with that, but I obviously, like everyone else, want to pay as little taxes as I can. If you feel differently, then by all means, send your pay checks to the tax agency, I doubt the will refuse.
Lol. That is only true if you have enough wealth to have that luxury. Also the state routinely gives billions of public funds to private corporations with zero strings attached and yes that is redistribution. The fact that you are trying to pretend it is not makes me wonder if you personally benefit from such practices.

News flash. Societies have been paid for by taxation since civilization came into existence. I guess you are one of those who things magic can fund your nation instead.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow: I agree, I am 100% against corporate bailouts from the government. That is not capitalism in practice. That is corrupt and political back scratching, and it is wrong. Why should my tax money go to fund failing companies?

And no, like I said, I pay my taxes. I understand some things are necessary. Some.
Don't forget those people in Venezuela. I hear they love socialism now.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow: That's debatable. I just did a quick search for that and found multiple sources each claiming a different rank for standard of living.
@Ax17x7: Look at any standard. Even things like purchasing power were better back then. The only post soviet state even doing okayish is Poland and 50% of their population left and never came back.

Okay first off who says it cannot work? You are starting off basing your premise on decades old propaganda and not fact. And well those nations are not exactly socialist by most definitions. If that is the bar then Americans who claim Canada is communist because we have single payer healthcare are right. lol

Sweden is struggling, not enough money. Sweden has a huge sales tax. If that's what you like, why are you here?
Mariocrespo8546 · 31-35, M
@nudistsueaz: this is totally random but I got a job offer at Argentina. If someone offered you a job out of the country would you go? I know it's a tough decision

Easy decision for you.
