Can we have a "progressive alliance" in Westminster?

Nicola Sturgeon wants the SNP, Labour, the Lib Dems and the Greens to unite in order to get rid of the Tories. It's a nice idea but Labour and the Lib Dems are stubbornly against it and probably hope they can form their own formal coalition. This will help Nicola anyway as she can say even the slightly better English parties don't want us to have a say.

I imagine the SNP is fighting to still remain relevant.
Finally get an independent Parliament and have two votes on independence and it was rejected twice !
You have to wonder where they go from there.

@Picklebobble2: They're the biggest party in the country. They won the Scottish elections on a manifesto that said they'd pursue independence and they will get most of the Scottish seats in WM on that promise. The next stop is winning indyref2.

They'll be the biggest party because in a time when Labour is all but dead, the only viable alternative is the Tories !
And most don't want that !

@dunpender: I'd suggest VERY relevant if your whole ethos is about returning home rule to Scotland.
