First, what personal experience do you have with illegal immigrants who use your tax dollars? I'm not even sure it's a problem. So educate me with hard facts, please.

Secondly, the real problem with the US is institutional corruption. The people running this country are elected. To get elected, you need a lot of money. Big money. The money comes from wealthy donors and corporations. They expect a quid pro quo for their support. And get it. So much for a democracy of the people, by the people and for the people.

That is what people should be concerned with, not the scapegoat bogeymen the politicians use to distract gullible people from the rot at the core of the political system.

You are being duped. Focus on real problems, not petty stuff like illegal immigrants. They do jobs no citizen would do. As a result, you can buy a head of lettuce for a buck. It would cost $5 if any citizens could be found to do that backbreaking work.

@DallasCowboysFan: I agree that the motivations seem cloudy. But why did Russia block the un from investigating the incident?

@hideout: Perhaps the Russians think the investigation would be rigged to force a greater conflict?

@hideout: I am not sure of the procedures to initiate an investigation but I am going to assume it would have been initiated by a UN security vote. Frequently, China and Russia vote one way and the U.S. and Britain another way. It may be to protect our allies or just to piss off each other because the last time 'they' voted against us.

Or, it could be that they are not confident the investigation will be unbiased. If one occurred, it would not be beneath the West to provide the results before it began.

Personally, I would like our politicians to ask why we have spent the last 4,5 years bombing ASSAD, who has done nothing to harm the U.S. or the West; and not ISIS or Al Qeda. Russia is bombing them while we bomb ASSAD. Every bomb that drops on ASSAD strengthens ISIS. Why do we fight ISIS on the streets of America, France and Britain and aid them in Syria?

@RandomUniverse: Then how come none of the media reported on Hitlery's health problems when she couldn't climb stairs and had problems walking? How come none of them condemned Obama for bombing Syria when ASSAD was and is not a threat to us or any Western nation? We bombed Assad at Obama's request but not ISIS. We fight ISIS in Iraq and aid them in Syria. And I could go on...

@RandomUniverse: FACT CHECKS.......hmmm......I read an article from Yahoo yesterday about the NEW YoRK City car show and the new cars being introduced. Car shows are early in the calendar year.....Detroit is the 2nd week of January and NYC and LA are a few weeks behind. So, I was a bit confused, I thought it was a bit late to be covering an auto show that was 2?, 3? months old. I opened the link and it was from 2015. So much for fact checking and proper editing procedures.
