It's disappointing and annoying that the US National Park Service has become a meme hero for "resisting" Donald Trump.

Remember when "resisting" meant something more than posting failed snarky tweets and making a new Twitter page when you get banned? Ooh, what rebellious badasses you are, making a new Twitter account.

Admittedly, it's the reaction of retards on the internet who turned this into a big deal and not the park rangers themselves.

Maybe instead of just popping off you can spend some time on the Alt National Park Service Facebook page. Run by rangers who are pissed and sharing the inside info in to how FUCKED our public lands are under this administration.

Believe it or not, some of us actually care about that kind of thing and APPRECIATE the 'rogue rangers' for stepping up to give a couple million of us the inside story.

@Ynotisay: If you have zero interest in Twitter or people spewing online and thinking in matters, and you have a lot of interest in smart, strategic, necessary resistance, then WHY are you defending the US National Park Service when they're doing those things you say you have zero interest in, and NOT doing that thing you say you have a lot of interest in? They're on Twitter, which you say you're not interested in, spewing online and thinking it matters, which you say you're not interested in. They are not taking part in any form of smart, strategic, or necessary resistance, which you are interested in. So shouldn't you be completely ignoring the park rangers?

And no, it doesn't need to be physical violence. You yanks are lucky. You have it good, you can civilly resist. In my homeland, we had no such concept.

@Ynotisay: I live in America but was not born here. I have been here for some time but plan on moving again soon. Traveling is...kind of part of the whole ethnic thing, y'know? I was seeking asylum as a war refugee in Australia but could not stay, but they told me I could come to America or Canada and find a home.

A march as least is better than tweeting. Maybe the park rangers should take example and march too.
