if you wanted your country to become a second rate dictatorship then you did right
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
The country is a dying superpower with or without trump
lorne13 · 61-69, M
@Flenflyys: it didn't have to die that fast

How is it a dictatorship? There is now way anyone could be a dictator in the US. Even Obama was not a dictator even though by his words, he appointed a lot of "czars" over parts of government. You need to study what a dictator is and how they operate. If he was a dictator, you would not be around now and there would be no Congress to represent you.

@Flenflyys: the US isn't dying, it was quite ill for the last eight years but it's on the mend. A good measure of policies is what they accomplish, not what was intended. The obozo years were a case history in failed policies. The stimulus cash benefited credit card companies. Cash for clunkers simply increased the cost of used cars and the clunkers got shipped to Latin America where they continue to pollute. The auto bail-out was simply a sop to the UAW. I could go on with drone strikes, Benghazi and dozens more. I'll leave the health care and debt disasters to speak for themselves.

The US is back. We're not dying.

I'm sorry, but they really aren't back. Not by a long shot. There's no indication that they ever will be. If trump actually does raise taxes for imports or subsidize jobs or for the average Joe that will only be temporary, because it really doesn't make any money. It's just more comfortable for the residents. And from the looks of it, he doesn't seem to care at all about the middle class.

@Flenflyys:I'm sorry but your observations are at variance with the easily observable facts. 268,000 jobs added since Trump took office and business tax cuts will spur more job creation, JFK and Reagan demonstrated that. Fault Trump if you want but critique real flaws.

@redredred: this is trumpspeak

I don't think you understand half of what I wrote. @redredred:

I was responding to the half that made sense.@Flenflyys:

You're just acting like a defensive American. Are you the one who said they want to prevent Muslims from leaving their country?
redredred · M
@Flenflyys: no, that wasn't me, try and keep track. My comments about Trump are supported by objective, measurable facts. I'm not presenting opinions in the present matter. The US is measurably better off now that the incompetent obozo has been replaced by the very capable Trump.
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
Your comment is an opinion on facts. Try to stay on topic, facts and opinions are hard to distinguish for some people, I understand. There's no need to get sassy by insulting my response. That's probably the worst comment in the history of comments, possibly ever. I understand you feel your country is not on the decline, though it clearly is to anyone who isn't a nationalist American, sorry.
redredred · M
Thanks for demonstrating opinion. "...the worst comment in the history of comments..." Really? I guess I hit a nerve. Now the facts. The US is on the incline. Hundreds of thousands of new jobs have been added since Trump took office, many in construction and manufacturing. The US is ending the open borders plan that allowed millions of "Undocumented democrats" to invade, procreate and go on the dole. There are now thousands of self-deportation cases on record. Trump is ending the disastrous health insurance scam obozo inflicted on the country. Personally, my premiums doubled and my deductible increased ten-fold. That will soon be history.

You don't have to like the US. Personally, if I could pick enemies for the US, I would choose effete know-nothings such as yourself. Your denial of simple, verifiable facts for the furtherance of your agenda is all too common in the world. The great thing about facts is they don't need your concurrence to be true.
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
Lol that's a trump quote, I was making a joke...calm down. If you don't understand how this job creation will be scrapped come next president, I'm sorry for you ☹️
redredred · M
I have no doubt that some future president with a "progressive" agenda can and will destroy jobs. That's what the left does. If you need an example, see Venezuela. And if you don't like my tone, I'll try to be nicer if you try to be smarter.
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
Ok
