How are we gonna survive Trump

how is america going to cope with somebody who lies all the time. It's just so embarrasing to watch, this stupid insecure guy, getting into these petty squabbles, all the time....

can't we get rid of this Trump guy somehow?

I highly doubt he'll complete his term. The problem now though is that he's lost legitimacy throughout the world. That's dangerous.

I used to think he would get impeached eventually, but now I'm not too sure... Most Republican leaders who once opposed him are now on board the Trump train. As Senator Al Franken from Minnesota once told Bill Maher when asked when the impeachment hearings will begin, "I have to remind you that Republicans control the House and the Senate so the impeachment hearings could be months and months away." It could also be years and years away. Or it might never happen at all.

@deadmoon: That's a good point. But the early reporting is that the intelligence services are finding out that what was in the dossier holds a lot of truth. The connection to Azerbaijan, and the Iranian Natl. Guard, is heating up fast as well. My thinking is the GOP is only too happy to let Trump play the fool. That's why they're trying to move so fast on a lot of issues. When it's in their best interest, and stuff comes out that CAN'T be ignored, they'll turn their backs on him in a heartbeat. We'll see.

I'm hoping so too. You would think that they'd be happy to have Trump out and let Mike Pence replace him instead, not that we'd be all that much better off. But at least he won't embarrass us as much with his Twitter wars and rants and at least we can trust Mike Pence with the nuclear codes due to not having to worry about his explosive temperament.

I doubt we'd see much difference in cabinet or philosophy with Pence. And he's proven he's okay with turning his back on the poor. But I think his temperament would be an improvement over 45 without doubt.

Yeah, that's the only thing I'm comfortable with about Pence. His temperament. But that's it. I know not much else will change with him as president, but at least we wouldn't have his temperament to worry about. With Trump we have to worry every time he wakes up in the morning after not dying from a heart attack in his sleep because we're in a constant state of worrying about what he will do now and what the consequences for that action will be.

Well, yeah. If he's alive and awake he's causing trouble.

@deadmoon: That's probably the thinking behind seven Russian officials being killed since the election. They take care of the trouble in a different way.
