What do you think of President Trump's charge that the previous administration abused their authority and spied on his campaign?

Don't know if it happened or not so, we are dealing with a hypothetical until more information is provided.

What I would like to know is your position on these three points.

1. Do you think the charge has a kernel of truth? Why or why not.

2. If it is true, what do you think should happen? Politically and legally?

3. If it's not true, what do you think should happen?

As a bonus please provide any sources for updates containing facts about this topic.

Thanks,

Trump's a liar, pathologically so. He takes no responsibility for anything he does. And he takes no responsibility for anything he says after it's been refuted.

@bijoux so I think I am clear on your position here.

You are saying that he was never spied upon by anyone in the previous administration correct?

Because it is not correct nothing should be done to folks either legally or politically?

What would you say should be done to Trump if the charges are indeed false and the admin did not spy on him?

Would you have issue with this kind of activity regardless of which party uses their authority to spy to gain advantage over the opposition or are you fine with that?

Those are my specific points in the question/ discussion.

I have you down for "Trump lies" but it didn't really answer the other parts. Don't want to put words in your mouth.
@USMCGUY: He's a liar, so nothing he says is credible. I wouldn't believe him if he said good morning.
