What do you think of President Trump's charge that the previous administration abused their authority and spied on his campaign?

Don't know if it happened or not so, we are dealing with a hypothetical until more information is provided.

What I would like to know is your position on these three points.

1. Do you think the charge has a kernel of truth? Why or why not.

2. If it is true, what do you think should happen? Politically and legally?

3. If it's not true, what do you think should happen?

As a bonus please provide any sources for updates containing facts about this topic.

Thanks,

If it is true then why not take some official action on it instead of using it as twitter fodder?

If it is true then the issue is whether it was done legally or not. Either way he has no business disclosing it via twitter. If illegally then the appropriate penalties should be pursued.

If the allegations are false without legitimate basis then it bears on his fitness to be president.

Assuming it is untrue, what do you think could be done?

Why do you think he would risk a move like this? This is high stakes. I don't think he would gamble blindly.

@USMCGUY: I don't think he can help himself. Why did he continue to tweet on the issue of voter fraud in New Hampshire eventhough he had won and assumed the presidency? At best it makes him look distracted and unfocused on the issues that matter and necessitate the president's attention.
