I've never been more proud of my country. The fact that the people stood up and said enough already, and slapped the establishment in the face pleases me greatly. But the ones who think they know what's best for us still have not figured it out. They sure are stupid.

The people chose Hillary Clinton. But because they were voting in the wrong places, the establishment told us we are getting Trump.

Just curious, but if the shoe were on the other foot?
No sides, just trying to understand how both sided think.

@lifeasmakamae: The "other foot" is saying over and over something needs to change and then voting for the same. The shoe has been on the other foot, many times. This isn't about republican or democrat, and it isn't about Trump. It's about the fact that for the past 8 years, in EVERY poll, between 65 and 75 % of Americans said we were headed in the wrong direction. That's not just repubs, that's a whole lot of dems as well. But while hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dems voted for trump, it was basically the right who actually did something about it by voting for change. Yes, i know the people thought they were voting for change in 2008 and again in 2012, but what did they get? If they got change it clearly wasn't the change they were looking for. As far as Trump is concerned, it remains to be seen if he was a mistake and if he is a mistake the people will learn from it and choose more wisely next time. Better men than these made mistakes, even with our constitution, thus the amendments. But make no mistake, this determination to return to government by the people is not going away. And those who understand that will be invited to come along, those who don;t will be told to f off.
