Thank you US voters

I was really worried. I see though the voters see the evil done by the republican party.

Now let us hope for good, creative government to move the country back in line to what it has been fir 250 years. The corruption and damage doers must be punished, but we cannot lose dight of the real goal, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and a more perfect union!

That you Texas for really showing it off!

I think what America needs today is a practical approach to problems, decisions, and affairs, an approach that focuses on what works in real-world conditions rather than abstract theories, rigid rules, or ideal ideologies.
I hope the days of ideology-driven American politics are over. I hope so for the people.
No vengeance please. Instead, make sure all people will have a health insurance that covers pregnancy without additional costs.

@helenS i don't understand your suggestion. Is universal medical care coverage a practical idea or ideological? Is setting a sustainable minimum wage a practical approach? I question your last paragraph, practical or ideological?

We have complex problems, but honestly one man did so much damage to the entire world in such a short time while enriching himself and family and friends that how can that go unpunished. The deaths of tens of thousands of people lay directly or indirectly on him!

@samueltyler2 I feel terribly misunderstood. My intention was to say "instead of some ideological crap please make sure people will have a reliable health insurance".

@helenS text interpretation is difficult, but it is truly impossible to remove ideology from politics. Ideology is the basis of politics, by definition.
And Georgia ! My cousins in Atlanta texted me with 🎊🎉 celebrating Jon Ossoff’s retaining his Senate seat and their new Governor-elect:

The way I see it is neither side have been listening to the people that they are supposed to be serving.

@Adrift to some extent perhaps, but one party passed an attempt at universal heakth care, one party has classically been trying to improve public health, clean air and water! The other states that they believe corporste profits are more important than people's health.

Compare graft, grift and corruption on government over the last 100 years. Look at the record! True it is so much easierv now because it has become so overt!

@samueltyler2 The problem with the affordable Healthcare act was that it only benefited the insurance companies.
The options were limited and unaffordable. Our premiums would have been more than my house payment plus you got penalized for not having it.
Neither side has done anything about social security in the last 40 years.
They just seem to be hanging these carrots in front of our faces to get the votes.
