I am an active member of the UK Green Party. I have voted in every election, sometimes for a lesser evil. Sometimes for what I believe. The Labour Party is my toxic ex

Pretty much voted at every election I was eligible for.
From nationwide ones, regional, and local ones, to the representatives of the students in school, or the color of the tiles at the entrance of the building lol

I do, yes, in the General (national Parliamentary) Elections and usually, Local Government (council) too.

I vote when I see a manifesto of policies that make sense.
If that’s not available, I don’t.

Always since I was nineteen.
Village councils, town councils, county councils, general elections, the lot.
Our Victorian forefathers fought long and hard to get us the vote, as did the female campaigners in the early twentieth century.
It is frustrating to see today’s apathy by people under forty, and people come into power with no mandate.

Yes I do. I always vote. 🙂

@CrazyMusicLover But you're still going to take responsibility for it ultimately, if the winner turns out to be awful and also critically helped by a large mass not voting 😅

@Elessar Nah, it's not the same. You can passively contribute and actively contribute. Passively is still much better.
Elessar · 31-35, M
@CrazyMusicLover But both contribute ultimately; like especially if the guy that won wouldn't have had the numbers if people bothered to vote, "I could've stopped this but I didn't" would be my constant unsuppressible thought.
Obviously, this is about such a specific scenario, it wouldn't be the case if, say, my non-vote resulted in the guy sponsored by the lobby of construction winning the role of mayor against the guy sponsored by the one of farmers.

I voted in this election, but skipped the one in 2024, didn't like either Trump or Harris, so didn't bother.

@val70 JD Vance will use his ballot to claim election fraud.
Thousands of American civilians and military members vote by mail every election cycle. Don't tell Vance.
