i always vote for an underdog...if somebody would weld trump's mouth closed, his party would win by landslide

the outcome will be very interesting. is there a silent conservative majority that will vote OR are they completely burned out and no longer care?? why texas candidates are advertising in other states i dont understand?? locally in a very strong conservative republican region, i see\hear NOTHING but democrat ads.

Perhaps.
But what happened is tRump launched a disastrous war in Iran, against all military advice, and his party did nothing to slow him down. tRump's party marched with him in lockstep.

And so many people view his party as complicit and contributory to our current disaster. Meanwhile, the full Epstein files continue to be hidden, the alienating of our closest allies continues, and the coddling of Russia continues.

And tRump's party continues to march with him in lockstep.

a few are putting distance between themself and trump

Collins voted against ending the Iran War five times during its escalation.
It's kinda late in the day to change one's mind about tRump's disastrous war after supporting it for months.

@ElwoodBlues i still believe the iran war is necessary
@1490wayb It's true that something had to be done about Iran's uranium enrichment. However, allow me to zoom back and look at the big picture.

Obama had solved the Iran nuclear issue with his Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2015. Then tRump unsolved it when he blew up the JCPOA in 2018, claiming he could make a better deal. But he didn't.

Obama's JCPOA had forced Iran to give up 98% of its partially enriched uranium and submit to tough technical international inspections in exchange for lifting sanctions. When tRump ended JCPOA and reimposed sanctions, Iran went right back to enriching uranium.

So the current Iran war was made necessary by tRump's 2018 JCPOA blunder.

Does that imply that the electorate favors rolling back of pollution controls, health safeguards, judicial indiscretions? It isnt what he says, but what he does
