@Justanothername Even as a left wing Bernie Sandars and AOC supporter I have to say John McCain and Mitt Romney were saints compared to this far right administration! 😇😇😇 John McCain and Mitt Romney were right wing but they were not totally heartless (John McCain saved Obamacare and Mitt Romney created Romneycare so that's proof they had a little compassion) and I wouldn't fear for our safety under them while this Trunp administration truly scares me! 😭😭😭 My daddy says Trump is so right wing he makes George Bush Jr look like Bernie Sandars which is crazy because George Bush Jr was super right wing! 😬😬😬 We need to get this far right administration out because they are dangerous! 😔😔😔 I hope AOC runs for president because I adore her! 😍😍😍

@Waveney I know your right but I hope soooooooo much AOC can become president because she supports Medicare For All (Universal Healthcare) and she is as left wing as Bernie Sandars so I like to think of AOC as the second Bernie Sandars! 😇😇😇 I believe healthcare should be free at point of use, I believe in welfare for the elderly and disabled, I believe in free education for children including free school meals, I believe in guaranteed sick pay for those who need it, I believe in some guaranteed paid vacation time, I believe in free tax paid housing with mantatory free tax paid mental health care for the homeless and I believe in a fair minimum wage with workers protections and those are the reasons I support Bernie Sandars and AOC! 😇😇😇 I'm not a full on Socialist as I still believe in Capitalism to an extent BUT I believe with all my heart that we need some Socialist programs like those listed above to make Capitalism less cruel and to help those who need help in society and that is why I believe centre left (global standards centre left which is far left in USA but not worldwide) is best place to be politically! 😇😇😇

As a left wing Liberal Christian I completely 100% agree with you! 😇😇😇 Also Jesus was closer to a Socialist as he taught to give to the poor, welcome the stranger, love thy neighbour and heal the sick which sounds pretty Socialist to me and sadly Republicans are so far to the right that it scares the hell out of me! 😭😭😭

And your argument that people won't work if they get things for free is hilarious. People in countries with universal healthcare and subsidised education still work hard, start businesses and become millionaires.
We don't get everything free; we pool our money to pay for services that benefit everyone. That's called society, mate, not socialism.

You say everyone should pay their fair share. Hurray! So why is contributing towards healthcare and education unfair, but it's perfectly acceptable to happily benefit from publicly funded roads, courts and infrastructure?
