I'm thinking this is a desperate move by Trump - he is going down in flames so he is supporting this whole venture to gain votes and support before the mditerms.
It's pretty much BS when you look at it - it is still in the dream stage and all they have done is maybe they have gotten the backers, but nothing else. At best, even if it happens, it won't be before 2040 before it gets off the ground.
And the company that is doing this has no experience in steel plants - they are miners and have a shaky business history to boot.
