Netanyahu Received Personal Warning Of Oct 7 Attack

Confirmed now by multiple sources, including the Wall Street Journal, Yediot Ahronot, Haaretz.

Both the Egyptian Intelligence chief, and the UAE Ruler, called him, to follow up on reports they sent, to warn that Hamas was up to something big, prior to the Oct 7th attack.

At the time, Netanyahu was focused on his campaign to soften the West Bank for settlers activity and was paying Hamas off just like he did before, sending suitcases full of cash, to make sure Hanas keeps the PA in check.

@BohoBabe worth a discussion. The USA had ample warning before 9/11. Hell, there was even a TV show pilot (the lone gunmen) that featured nearly the exact same plot 6 months prior. I tend to not buy into the conspiracy stuff, and favor the idea that it was just pride and an inept administration that didn’t believe it would actually happen.

For Oct 7th, I’m thinking the same. They knew of an impending attack, they just underestimated the scope. In other words the attitude may have been “let the pissants attack and we will just easily crush them.”

In a word, complacency - one of the real dangers in any battle, any campaign and the longer you engage and the conflict draws on, the more complacent you become - that and underestimating your enemy is what lead to October 7th.
