What's with all these politicians running on "We will hold the other side accountable"?

How is that going to make my gas cheaper or my grocery bill less? If a politician on either side is defeated in the midterms in November, I expect the new guy to get to work doing things that will actually make our lives better, not going after the other party. Punishing someone who was incompetent or even corrupt is not going to make your life better. Fixing the policies will.

The reason we're in this situation is because the Republicans are completely lawless. The war on Iran, which caused oil inflation, is illegal.

That said, I don't think Democrats have the balls to arrest any Republicans. But if they actually did hold them accountable, that would lower the cost of oil and food.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

You will not get any of that if you just ignore the crime syndicate running things into the ground.

You are also in this mess because previous administrations taught people like Trump there are no consequences for anything.
