Don't get me wrong, people suffer when the Right is in control, and that sucks. But because their policies are so horrendously bad, people turn on them fast.

@Roundandroundwego The new deal worked for two reasons. One was that that the official revaluation of gold still fixed it to the US$, with the funds going into national projects to provide employment AND to develop infrastructure for the nation (Not tax cuts for the rich) And because a nice big war came along to provide employment and trade for Britain, who paid for everything they got in the end.. This makes me wonder just how serious America is about avoiding a war this time. Of course it will have to be someone who cant strike America back directly.😷
