The troubling thing with Chris Christie is, by his own admission, he has known Cry-Baby-trump for 24 years and knows he is capable of lying regularly but he was an avid enabler until his personal gain advantage vanished.
As for the influencer-moderator... he is a bit on the annoying/obnoxious/irritating/trying too hard to be a comic and failing side.

@MarkPaul True, anyone who was in deep with Trump at some point likely has some manipulative characteristic going on. It's very engrained.

@Carla When he was younger, he lied all the time. But now his brain is soup, he has no idea what's real anymore. Plus his staff is definitely hiding things from him. You can tell in his press conferences when Miller is there. Trump will get asked a question, not know the context, then Miller will jump in and answer for him.
