What's a "Proper Brexit"

The Daily Express today has a front page saying "Give us a proper Brexit". What can that mean? We've already completely left the EU and become a Third Country in real danger from the USA. We've also torn up various treaties, such as the Dublin Agreement, which allowed us to send asylum seeker back to France. How much further can we alienate our friends and former trading partners?

When you stop whining and asking to come back

Brexit has done a lot of damage to the UK but maybe they can think of ways of doing more. For example, "a proper Brexit" could mean abolishing minimum wage and the working time directive.

Although not directly related to the EU, it could include abolishing the NHS and human rights, as Frogface plans to do if he ever gets the chance. Handing the country over to the US is another possibility. Bear in mind Trump has already threatened to invade Canada, whom we share a monarch with and threatened our NATO ally Greenland. He's also threatened Ireland saying he'll use Irish airfields to launch attacks on other countries whether the Irish like it or not.

There's still a bit to be done to achieve the Brexit aim of destroying the UK.

@Sharon He claims that his proposed raising of the VAT threshold for small businesses is a "Brexit bonus". Yet there is nothing in EU legislation preventing member states from varying thresholds or rates. When Mr Brexit struggles to identify any meaningful benefits of leaving, you do start to wonder.

@SunshineGirl If he said grass is green I'd check. The probability of it changing colour is far greater than the probability that he's telling the truth,

@Sharon could you explain to me, what’s so great about being in the EU, what’s so great about the EU

what danger is america threatening you with??
Sharon · F
@1490wayb The USA is the greatest current threat to world peace.

@Sharon Always has been, and so is Israel

The Daily Express is a right-wing outrage paper.
Much as The Daily Mail or The Daily Telegraph are.
They post tripe in the hope of attracting headlines elsewhere (news channels on tv; politico channels on YouTube etc.) so that they can charge advertisers more and keep their dying circulation going.

I dare say those that own such titles hope to persuade the government of the day that they still have influence over public opinion and so should have a say in the policies they want political parties to adopt.
Harping on about Brexit is how people like Farrage hide the fact that after Brexit they had no plans and no idea what they are doing.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Farage has been rather quiet on the 10th anniversary of the Brexit referendum, suggesting it no longer carries the same political capital. Although he did claim the £5m he accepted from a tax exile was a "gift" for getting Brexit done 🤣

@SunshineGirl Frogface almost immediately tried to get German citizenship but, remembering what happened last time they let a foreign politician like him have any influence there, they told him to get lost. The Belgians weren't so choosy.
Lol, the only thing that we were promised is that "Brexit means Brexit".

I’m guessing you’re a globalist
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
I have absolutely no idea. Boris Johnson delivered as promised. No half measures, no compromises. If people are unsatisfied with the outcome of what they voted for, I suggest they react with pure, cold Fa-Rage.
