I don't understand what the gameplan is for Netanyahu. If he derails the peace talks with Iran by attacking Lebanon, he'll earn the ire of every other

developed country in the world that depends on oil from the Gulf. Thats gotta be more costly than anything they can gain from Lebanon.

I think he's still thinking how Israel was viewed in the 60s... Not the monster they have become
@Convivial Exactly. He thinks that he's Ben-Gurion. There were plans for example then to drive the Negev bedouin nomads off but he didn't go ahead with that. Now they're part of Israel but there's no infracture investment for them. No roads, no new settlements, etc. All because of this ethnic-centred policy making that's now going on. Ben-Gurion would cry.
The problem is there are zero consequences.

The "ire of every other develop nation's has been.
