Colorado Governor commutes the sentence of Tina Peters

Tina Peters, who was convicted by a jury of election tampering in the 2020 election, had her 9 year prison sentence commuted by Governor Jared Polis.

Peters was convicted last summer on seven counts, including attempting to influence a public servant, conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation and official misconduct.

Trump rewards criminals who side with him. This is to be expected.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Peters had nothing but contempt for the jury, scorn for the judge and no evidence of remorse at her sentencing.

This wasn’t about “protected free speech”—this was blatant thumbing her nose at the law.
