Democrat U.S. Senate Candidate Criticizes Michiganders Use of Cars!

And the "big" story is that she likened Trump's governance of America to Nazi Germany? WTF!

CNN hasn't been watching their own news stories!

Part of the problem is that anytime Nazi Germany is mentioned people start thinking of the Holocaust. But they forget what was done BEFORE the Holocaust and the Nazi "laws" that eventually got to that point.

I've likened Trump to the Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini. I won't back off from that. And I wish that Mallory McMorrow won't back down when she is continually asked if she stands by her earlier comments about Trump and the Nazis. What I would hope she will also do, however, is compare Trump's actions, proposals and threats to civil liberties to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in the early and mid-1930s. THAT is where you can start drawing the parallels. But, again, I prefer the Mussolini comparison. Trump is the American Il Duce.

@beckyromero Thanks for BC!

Unlike il Duce or der Fuehrer, Trump did not come to power with the aid of a private army of hundreds of thousands of blackshirts or brownshirts, so neither comparison is valid.

Furthermore, after they came to power, Mussolini and Hitler outlawed all political parties except their own. Hitler did it within two months and Mussolini within two years.

After four and a half years, Trump seems quite the laggard in that regard, if silly comparisons are to be made.

In April, the Network Contagion Research Institute, along with Rutgers University, found that 55% of self-identified left-of-center respondents said that it was at least somewhat justified to murder President Trump. Forty-eight percent said the same of Elon Musk, and 40% of respondents, including 59.6% of left-of-center respondents, said it was at least somewhat acceptable to destroy a Tesla dealership in protest.

The question was asked on a scale of 1-7 as to how justified these different acts were, with 1 being not at all justified and 7 being completely justified. Nearly 15% of left-of-center respondents said that the murder of Donald Trump was a 7 – completely justified – and 10.7% said the same of Musk.
@DogMan You claimed:
Democrats all over the country calling for assassinations.

So your own source proves your claim to be false!!!

Nobody is "calling for assassinations." You said they were "calling for assassinations" and your evidence says they are not.

Trump's actions, proposals and threats to civil liberties

And what would those be? Oh I remember. He is going to outlaw abortion, nope.

He is going to make himself King, Nope. He is going to take away womens right to vote, Nope.

There are hundreds of asinine things people made up that never happened, but people believe they did.

How about how he used Nazi tactics of de-humanizing people so they would be hated by the republicans?

oh wait, that is the Nazi tactic the Democrats used, never mind.

@ElwoodBlues Now compare the name calling above to 10+ years of calls for violence against the right.

It would take you a week to read all the violent rhetoric against the right.
@DogMan says
ow compare the name calling above to 10+ years of calls for violence against the right.

Pretend I'm from Missouri. SHOW ME.

Meanwhile, let's look at the numbers of actual killings by violent extremists. Those numbers are why why Trump's own FBI director said that the greatest domestic terrorist threat today is white supremacists (see source below). How do we identify white supremacists?? Via the swastikas and confederate flags!! Do I need to post those photos again??

Fatalities resulting from attacks by far right wing violent extremists have exceeded those caused by radical Islamist violent extremists in 10 of the 15 years, and were the same in 3 of the years since September 12, 2001. Of the 85 violent extremist incidents that resulted in death since September 12, 2001, far right wing violent extremist groups were responsible for 62 (73 percent) while radical Islamist violent extremists were responsible for 23 (27 percent).

And when we move beyond mass shootings, hate crime stats are dominated by hate crimes committed by right-wing extremists:
In November 2018, the Federal Bureau of Investigation released its annual hate crime incident report, which found that in 2017, hate crimes increased by approximately 17 percent, including a 23-percent increase in religion-based hate crimes, an 18-percent increase in race-based crimes, and a 5-percent increase in crimes directed against LGBT individuals. The total number of reported hate crimes rose for the third consecutive year. The previous year's report found that in 2016, hate crimes increased by almost 5 percent, including a 19-percent rise in hate crimes against American Muslims; additionally, of the hate crimes motivated by religious bias in 2016, 53 percent were anti-Semitic. Similarly, the report analyzing 2015 data found that hate crimes increased by 6 percent that year. Much of the 2015 increase came from a 66-percent rise in attacks on American Muslims and a 9-percent rise in attacks on American Jews. In all three reports, race-based crimes were most numerous, and those crimes most often targeted African Americans.

And that's why Trump's own FBI director said that the greatest domestic terrorist threat today is white supremacists.

Hypocritical Democrats and their sycophants in the media are rushing to evade blame for inciting political violence in the country including the latest assassination attempt of President Donald Trump.

White House officials yesterday called out three Massachusetts lawmakers -- Ayanna Pressley, Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey -- for leading the "left wing cult of hatred" against Trump for years -- culminating in the latest shooting at the White House Correspondents' dinner.

"This political violence stems from a systemic demonization of him and his supporters by commentators, by elected members of the Democrat Party and even some in the media,"

More info on how Democrats and Nazis are alike.

The Nazi state weaponized a vast propaganda apparatus to strip Jews of their humanity and justify exclusion, violence, and ultimately extermination, using state ministries, mass media, exhibitions, schooling and popular culture to normalize antisemitic tropes [1][2]. Recent quantitative linguistic work confirms this was not merely rhetoric: Nazi messaging progressively denied Jews capacities for human emotion and mental life in the years leading up to mass murder, a shift that scholars link to facilitating moral disengagement among perpetrators and bystanders

This is no different than people like Hillary Clinton calling out the right as Deplorable, Uneducated, Racists.

I think more than Hitler or Mussolini, Trump has used the modern fascist playbook of Orban. Thankfully, Trump is much dumber than any of those three dictators, so he failed. MAGA is pretty much dead now.
@BohoBabe I'm not ready to count any unhatched chickens.
