I hate to burst your bubble but it's probably something Trump wrote or made 😜

Think about it. For instance.....the biggest thing right now is AI. There is one man who "invented" AI, Alan Turing. In multiple interviews Turing and others have said openly they have absolutely no idea how AI works...or it's ultimate capabilities......because it is evolving itself. How do you "invent" something but are clueless how it works? This is exactly how uneducated Chinese workers makes TV's.......they take one apart someone else invented and if a circuit board has a 100 ohm resistor RIGHT THERE IN THOSE TWO HOLES.....they put one in those two holes on the copycat board they made.. It does not look at all like "we" invented AI. It looks like we reverse engineered it after taking apart AI we got from someone else and then copycatting it.

Look at the past 50-80 years. Since mankind began we didn't know how to build a computer. That would be at least 300,000 years. But in the last 50 years we "invented" microchips......logic systems....computers....cell phone technology...remote guided weapons.....missiles capable to space travel The list is dramatic. We went from covered wagons to AI in the span of 80 years......yet before that for thousands and thousands and thousands of years we had no concept of how to build any of that. In that last 80 years we have had events happen the government covered up.....like the crash site at Roswell where EVERYTHING was cleaned up and immediately became Top Secret. Why?? Why is that still Top Secret......from 1947 until now? In 1947 we had NOTHING in the way of highly advanced technology. Today.......suddenly in our timespan as humans..............we do. No one thinks that's kinda strange?

Since Roswell.......Area 51...other sightings....we have had a tremendous technological jump in an extreme small time span. That suggests we did not "invent" as much as we claim we have. It "looks" like a lot of our technology was either taught to us by something or someone else........or we reverse engineered the technology we found or was given but now we won't reveal where those advances came from.

Call it conspiracy theory thinking if you want........but when you think about it.........its true. Where are we now technology-wise..........we never dreamed of being 80 years ago? How did we get there so fast.....when something like the invention of AI was not even a concept to teach in college until one man just decided to invent that entire platform? He wasn't taught that in college.....no one even knew what it was to teach......and he himself don't know how it works.......and yet he "invented" it????

@anythingoes477 I appreciate your well thought out reply and it makes plenty of sense. There are a lot of people who feel the technological marvels that were introduced in the last half of the 20th century were brought to us from other worlds.

There was something else happening in the 20th century that contributed to the explosion in technology. Universal elementary education and the availability of advanced education. Instead of having a few exceptional people here and there making advances we had hundreds of thousands of engineers, chemists and scientists of all kinds working together and sharing knowledge. It was the proverbial snowball rolling down hill.

I can see where both scenarios could lead to where we are today. My personal belief is that all the technology we enjoy today was created by humans alone.

I suspect we will actually know less.

while I don't know it doesn't help that the admiinistration closed down/fired all 22 members of the US National Science Foundation’s (NSF) governing board

She's a trumpette. Anything she claims is suspect.

Odd statement to make.
Although perfectly in line with plenty of others currently floating around on other subjects we don't need responses to
