Turkey was only in NATO to be a shield against the USSR. Yes Israel wants to attack Turkey which is why I think that Trump is talking about dismantling NATO. Israel would be attacking NATO.

I can't see any good outcome for Israel after Trump's fiasco dealing with Iran. Trump is going down for sure. NATO is dismantled. The western military alliance has gone the way of the Soviet Union. Israel is alone.
It is a theory I have heard serious analysts express.
