Yes. America is very much the land of unintended consequences..As for Trump. I doubt Americans will even notice the charge of Piracy added to all the other reasons to find alternatives to dealing with them.. But they will notice the price of everything rising and wonder why......😷

@Strictmichael75 Short term memory loss is a problem with this country. I blame the media always focusing on things that don't matter. Why are we talking about the feud with Pope Leo?? So we understand how horrible Trump is? We already know that. Trump creates chaos because it draws attention away from a Iran.

Electric vehicle is supposed to run 250 to 300 miles on one charge which is fairly good at an average of $20 a charge, definitely cheaper for now anyway...... If all vehicles become electric prices will skyrocket......
The groups and electric companies has been trying to get away from oil and gas for a few decades, they have almost managed to get rid of gas stoves and gas heaters, only the older buildings may have them..... with or without any war the world / countries using totally electricity energy is on the verge.
So everybody, even those who can't afford them, need to be sure they have a generator or two / by then all generators will be all solar power also and expensive batteries...... To when the snow storm come / the hurricane come / the tornadoes come / the floods come and knock out electricity there will be big problems, especially in the winter time.
But mankind will be eliminating some pollution in the air, on the land and sea by eliminating gas and oil usage.
