In some ways, we should be grateful to Trump.

Thanks to his illegal Iranian war, he has done more to accelerate the energy transition than anyone else alive.

Fossil fuel companies bankrolled his presidential campaign to stop the transition in its tracks. But when you back a volatile narcissist, unable to concentrate for more than a few minutes at a time, you shouldn’t expect to control the outcome. And the outcome is, interest in renewables, EVs and battery storage around the world is surging exponentially.

Anlthough it's not the way we wanted it to unfold, we should be grateful to him for this.

Yes. America is very much the land of unintended consequences..As for Trump. I doubt Americans will even notice the charge of Piracy added to all the other reasons to find alternatives to dealing with them.. But they will notice the price of everything rising and wonder why......😷

@Strictmichael75 Short term memory loss is a problem with this country. I blame the media always focusing on things that don't matter. Why are we talking about the feud with Pope Leo?? So we understand how horrible Trump is? We already know that. Trump creates chaos because it draws attention away from a Iran.

> Steve Bannon’s "flood the zone with shit" strategy is a deliberate propaganda technique intended to overwhelm the media and public with constant, conflicting, and sensational information. By saturating the information ecosystem, the goal is to make it impossible for people to distinguish fact from fiction.
