It was said that Canadians were disappointed when then PM Brian Mulroney resigned rather than get trounced in an election because they wanted to boot him out properly. (when his successor, Kim Campbell, faced the mandatory election in 1993 the Progressive Conservatives went from a majority of 156 seats in Parliament to 2. Yes, just 2. Two! 🤣

And given the Republicans previous record on such things, this is the best reason to find a way NOT to hold that election or see the result ratified.. If push comes to shove, do you think Vance will stand up for the constitution like Pence did?😷
