Iran was never a nuclear threat. Trump thought he was going to waltz in and take over Iran's oil resources. It was all about oil and nothing else.

@MoveAlong Trump could go in and kill every last person thst has a leg up to be supreme leader there and not lose one man if we so choose to do so just look at Maduro and his wife, do you not think we could do it to anyone else of our choosing ?

@Prison1203 Good to know. He should go after NK next then. They are a real threat. Especially to our
alies.

And you actually believe that? Ever hear of Taqiyya?
Waveney · M
@BizSuitStacy And you have evidence for this...how?
I'll also point out that you saying Islam âallow[s] lying to gain the upper handâ is flat-out wrong. Itâs a distortion of a very narrow teaching about conflict resolution and wartime tactics, not everyday behaviour. Islamic teachings, including those attributed to Muhammad, overwhelmingly stress honesty and condemn lying, with only tightly limited exceptions that donât support your point (i.e. taqqiya, which you have quickly moved on from đ€).
So what youâre presenting is of course cherry-picked misrepresentation dressed up to sound like a general rule.
And you believe the Trump regime hasn't lied about anything...?đ

@BizSuitStacy This is too easy đ
But letâs run through this properly since youâre throwing around buzzwords like theyâre evidence.
So now the Diego Garcia thing proves Iran has ICBMs? Thatâs not how this works. Missile capability is based on tested, repeatable systems not one murky incident with zero transparent data. Youâre leaping from âsomething may have happenedâ to âtheyâve secretly had intercontinental missiles all along.â Thatâs fantasy.
Then the nuclear deal. You bring up the JCPOA like itâs some gotcha. Its entire purpose was to limit and monitor Iranâs nuclear activity because there were concerns. Thatâs literally how non-proliferation works. You donât wait for a country to build a bomb, you put inspections in place to stop them getting there.
And hereâs the part you leave out because it wrecks your argument. The deal was being verified by the IAEA. Then Trump tore it up with no replacement, for no discernible reason. Inspections weakened, tensions went up, and suddenly everything is less transparent. If youâre confused about how things got worse, start there.
The $1.7 billion? Not a payoff. It was Iranâs own money from before 1979 being returned as part of a legal settlement. This isnât a secrets, itâs been public record for years đ
Iran said they have a right to nukes? No, they said they have a right to civilian nuclear energy under the Nuclear NPT. Big difference. Youâre either mixing it up or hoping no one notices.
Then we get the Rosatom/Uranium One/Hillary rabbit hole. Civil nuclear cooperation isnât weapons development, and the Uranium One story has been investigated over and over. no corruption, no secret uranium pipeline, no smoking gun. Just internet conspiracy leftovers. Get over it.
And 300 lbs of uranium dust? Thatâs not even how any serious source describes nuclear material. It sounds dramatic, which is clearly the point.
So no, this isnât you exposing some grand lie. Itâs you stitching together a disputed missile story, a misunderstood treaty, and a pile of debunked claims and acting like youâve cracked the case.
Thereâs no evidence Iran had nukes. Unless of course you have cast iron proof otherwise? Iâll wait đ€

Trump opens his mouth and Netanyahu speaks.

and second... it wasn't that long ago they were celebrating, high-fiving themselves, and feeling like they owned the libs because they were told (and they believed) that Iran's nuclear program and capabilities had been "obliterated."

But they accuse the opposition in their democratically elected legislature of being terrorists, so if they don't even trust them they are going to be mightily suspicious of foreigners regardless of anything they say.
