MAGATs who STILL seem to believe Iran was about to launch a nuclear attack seem to forget one tiny thing...

...Ayatollah Khamenei had put out an injuction banning nuclear weapons.

And you actually believe that? Ever hear of Taqiyya?

@BizSuitStacy yes I do. Taqqiya allows a Muslim to conceal their faith if they believe they are in mortal danger.

You seem to think that it means all Muslims are liars.

@BizSuitStacy And you have evidence for this...how?

I'll also point out that you saying Islam “allow[s] lying to gain the upper hand” is flat-out wrong. It’s a distortion of a very narrow teaching about conflict resolution and wartime tactics, not everyday behaviour. Islamic teachings, including those attributed to Muhammad, overwhelmingly stress honesty and condemn lying, with only tightly limited exceptions that don’t support your point (i.e. taqqiya, which you have quickly moved on from 🤭).

So what you’re presenting is of course cherry-picked misrepresentation dressed up to sound like a general rule.

And you believe the Trump regime hasn't lied about anything...?😂

@BizSuitStacy This is too easy 😂

But let’s run through this properly since you’re throwing around buzzwords like they’re evidence.

So now the Diego Garcia thing proves Iran has ICBMs? That’s not how this works. Missile capability is based on tested, repeatable systems not one murky incident with zero transparent data. You’re leaping from “something may have happened” to “they’ve secretly had intercontinental missiles all along.” That’s fantasy.

Then the nuclear deal. You bring up the JCPOA like it’s some gotcha. Its entire purpose was to limit and monitor Iran’s nuclear activity because there were concerns. That’s literally how non-proliferation works. You don’t wait for a country to build a bomb, you put inspections in place to stop them getting there.

And here’s the part you leave out because it wrecks your argument. The deal was being verified by the IAEA. Then Trump tore it up with no replacement, for no discernible reason. Inspections weakened, tensions went up, and suddenly everything is less transparent. If you’re confused about how things got worse, start there.

The $1.7 billion? Not a payoff. It was Iran’s own money from before 1979 being returned as part of a legal settlement. This isn’t a secrets, it’s been public record for years 🙄

Iran said they have a right to nukes? No, they said they have a right to civilian nuclear energy under the Nuclear NPT. Big difference. You’re either mixing it up or hoping no one notices.

Then we get the Rosatom/Uranium One/Hillary rabbit hole. Civil nuclear cooperation isn’t weapons development, and the Uranium One story has been investigated over and over. no corruption, no secret uranium pipeline, no smoking gun. Just internet conspiracy leftovers. Get over it.

And 300 lbs of uranium dust? That’s not even how any serious source describes nuclear material. It sounds dramatic, which is clearly the point.

So no, this isn’t you exposing some grand lie. It’s you stitching together a disputed missile story, a misunderstood treaty, and a pile of debunked claims and acting like you’ve cracked the case.

There’s no evidence Iran had nukes. Unless of course you have cast iron proof otherwise? I’ll wait 🤭
