Trump knows he holds all the cards. He has the nuclear football. He knows he is done for as a viable US President. He intends to take us all down with him.
He knows what we are thinking. There is no way he is going to let us do him in even if we let him finish his term and sent him off into the sunset. He is not going to end up like a woman scorned.

After insisting he "obliterated Iran's nuclear program" and taking one of his undeserved victory laps while demanding a Nobel Peace Prize, he now takes offense at critics who question how much of a nuclear threat Iran could possibly have been.
It would be like him taking an (undeserved) victory lap for getting a COVID-19 vaccine to market in record time and then later claiming COVID-19 was a hoax that he knew about all along. And only a crazy person would do something like that.
