Firing people isn't really likely to help with the midterms so my guess is he'll focus more on cleaning out the "deep state" like ethical professionals and military officers.
He's running out of nutcases and ne'er do wellswho can get Senate Confirmation, so we might also see some more interim appointments and war with his own party in Congress to justify it.
He might fire some more bigwigs, but it seems more likely he'll find enemies from folks like Vance whom he actually can't fire if not just blaming Congress and the Courts.

@MistyCee The mid terms will be interesting, all the people who he fired will be voting against him and his party, elected republicans will have to answer to their voters on the war on Iran, Epstein affair and the rest!
