"God does not listen to the prayer of those who wage war," says Pope Leo XIV.

After the Pope's remark, White House defends praying for US troops engaged in the Iran war.

"I don't think there is anything wrong with our military leaders or with the president calling on the American people to pray for our service members and those who are serving our country overseas," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who is also a Catholic, told reporters.

Serving our country to do what exactly? Using overwhelming force to kidnap the Venezuelan head of state, Maduro, and his wife? Extra-judicial killing of boatmen in the Caribbean? Launching a deadly double-tap missile strike on a girl school in Minab, Iran?

@sunsporter1649 Yes let the greater and lesser Satan wither on the vine. Sadly Americans are so uninformed they think Iran is about to destroy them. Well should the US simply withdraw its forces and close its bases there would be no conflict. The only question that matters is why does the US have all those bases all over the world when it can't beat Yemen or Afghanistan or ..... The US has a perfect track record. It loses every war it enters.

@sunsporter1649 the rag heads are controlled by the small hats. Get rid of the small hats and the rag heads disappear. So about the threat of terrorism - Is it in the room with you now? You do come across as being a bit psycho. Maybe you should seek professional help?
