The American people are not onboard with what's going on in Iran.

The war is turning into the ultimate test of an operating principle that has guided Trump for decades: construct a narrative, declare it to be true and relentlessly force the world to submit to it. It has proved effective in Manhattan boardrooms, on reality television and even at the heart of power in Washington.

Trump is an influencer who believes in the power of suggestion. The American people are not on board with what’s going on because he cannot articulate an argument for why we’re there or what victory actually looks like. Above all it is immoral both in substance as well as in execution.

Yeah it is easy to support a war when neither the person nor their sons are having to go fight.

Don't forget the daughters, and wives even. We are an equal opportunity nation. We allow tattoos, make up and nail polish in the US military.

@sree251 Yeah I should have said that. Just how it is easy to support a conflict from the sidelines when someone doesn't have to risk the safety of themselves or their loved ones.

As the rest of us sit home and argue on the web or maybe lay around watching TV, we cannot imagine what it is like being in some sh*t hole country having to risk our lives.
