Iran is a much bigger country than Iraq. Population of about 90 million. Iran has a far more powerful military than Iraq.
Iran is built like a natural fortress, with extensive ranges of mountains. They have dug deep tunnels which house a fleet of thosands of drones.
Iran controls the strait of Hormuz. They have laid mines on the sea bed which rise to blast the hulls of ships and sink them.

The comparison that I am making is from the two Gulf Wars to now.

In 1990-91, the coalition had put together nearly one million troops to take on Iraq.

@Jake966 Yes, a very large segment if Iran's population are pro west and desperately want regime change. There is also a large segment, maybe even larger, who are armed to the teeth and support their government.
