Question: Why don’t more Republicans push toward healthcare?

As all of you know, I consider myself to be a progressive—or a “deform” Republican. I believe in healthcare for many different reasons, but my main reasoning is this: I think healthcare can play an important role in ending human trafficking. By dedicating a significant portion of it to helping victims who’ve been trafficked, we could give them access to free human services and therapy.

I’m just kind of curious—Republicans, or even conservatives (though I’m not a conservative, I am a Republican)—why don’t more of you talk about this?

The GOP as it exists today is run by MAGAs, that’s why they’re racist, (otherwise they would’ve strengthened the ACA instead of branding it "Obamacare" and letting it die).

And it’s why they don’t care about women, children or affordable healthcare.

Referring to Republicans of the past who did care about this country is moot, because that’s just not who’s in charge of the party (or the country) now. 😔
