Question: Why don’t more Republicans push toward healthcare?

As all of you know, I consider myself to be a progressive—or a “deform” Republican. I believe in healthcare for many different reasons, but my main reasoning is this: I think healthcare can play an important role in ending human trafficking. By dedicating a significant portion of it to helping victims who’ve been trafficked, we could give them access to free human services and therapy.

I’m just kind of curious—Republicans, or even conservatives (though I’m not a conservative, I am a Republican)—why don’t more of you talk about this?

I honestly don't see the connection between healthcare and human trafficking.

@Musicman what I'm trying to say if we had health care to help victims who've been human traffic to offer free Human Services and free therapy for them it may just end human trafficking keep in mind that human trafficking is a lot like the modern slavery

@1930sfan Human trafficking is modern day slavery. That's why I didn't see a connection between it and healthcare.
