Question: Why don’t more Republicans push toward healthcare?

As all of you know, I consider myself to be a progressive—or a “deform” Republican. I believe in healthcare for many different reasons, but my main reasoning is this: I think healthcare can play an important role in ending human trafficking. By dedicating a significant portion of it to helping victims who’ve been trafficked, we could give them access to free human services and therapy.

I’m just kind of curious—Republicans, or even conservatives (though I’m not a conservative, I am a Republican)—why don’t more of you talk about this?

I look forward to reading the responses you receive. Your distinction between "Republican' and 'conservative' interests me.
@FreddieUK There actually used to be progressive Republicans, but the Tea Party (precursor to the MAGAs) ran them off.
